Lasts How Long? stores all your data locally in your browser. No data ever leaves your device. No accounts, no analytics, no tracking. That's it.
Lasts How Long? is a product made by Nejo Studios. We build simple, privacy-first tools for everyday use. This privacy policy applies specifically to the Lasts How Long? application.
We collect zero personal data. Lasts How Long? is a fully client-side application. Everything you enter — product names, quantities, purchase dates, ran-out dates — is stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage.
None of this data is ever transmitted to Nejo Studios, any third party, or any server of any kind.
We do not use cookies. We do not use analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Hotjar). We do not embed any third-party scripts that track you. The app uses only browser-native localStorage for persistence.
Your data lives entirely on your own device. Because we never receive it, we cannot lose it, leak it, or misuse it. The security of your data is governed entirely by your browser and device.
We recommend using the Export Data feature on the Data Management page to back up your entries periodically. Clearing your browser history or site data will permanently erase your tracked items.
Lasts How Long? does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Since no data is collected at all, COPPA and similar regulations are satisfied by design.
If we ever change this privacy policy (for example, if we introduce optional cloud sync in the future), we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and make the changes obvious. We will never silently collect data.
